This project started as a venture produced by the independent film group Mago Films in coordination with the Art Gallery of Western Australia.

The five-minute short documentary has now become one of the headline sections of the currently running ABC Series ‘Art Works’, highlighting the fine culinary and visual arts of Singaporean artist Janice Wong.

Wong’s ‘Pure Imagination’ exhibition sets the tone for an immersive and detailed journey into her artwork, her motivations and the story she tells regarding conserving our natural world beauties.

My role on the project was to handle all of the on-set audio capture, ranging from recording interview dialogue with the artist and additional guest appearances, including the location atmosphere of the Art Gallery and the sound of food being prepared for the event.

Janice Wong: Pure Imagination is now streaming on the ABC iView show ‘Art Works’, Series Two, Episode Thirty-One.
