Following the release of the projects "One Shot Scott" and "The Other Side", The SAE Institute hosted a music track edit competition, where we were given the chance to merge together the soundtrack of a movie score, along with the style of an EDM group/label.

In this challenge, I put my production skills to the test and proceeded to combine the sounds of the Far East conveyed in the movie score from

"Memoirs Of A Geisha" (2005), with the Melodic House/Techno riffs of the "Afterlife" Record Label that was formed by 'Tale Of Us'.

This involved crafting driving arpeggios, rolling basslines, groovy percussion and broad strings, in order to convey a grandiose set piece that promotes an aura of exhilaration, immersing you into the abyss.
